Bills’ Mitchell Trubisky not held in high regard among NFL backup QBs

    Published on

The hope is that Mitchell Trubisky will not play any meaningful snaps for the Buffalo Bills in 2025, but the backup quarterback position is an important one.

Trubisky beat out Mike White to retain his spot as Josh Allen’s backup in 2025 as NFL roster cuts around the league have come and gone.

The Bills were not the only team figuring out their QB2 situation this summer, every team has one. Post cut downs, Fan Duel decided to rank this position, team-by-team, in the NFL.

Trubisky does not instill much faith.

Overall, Trubisky was named the 28th best backup quarterback currently in the league. Ouch.

Thankfully, Allen has been an ironman in his career. The hope in Buffalo will be that continues in 2025.
