Taylor Swift has reportedly increased her already strong security as she became a target of frequent attacks.
The 35-year-old pop superstar is no stranger to threats to her safety, given her history of Vienna terrorist plot at Eras Tour, as well as previous break-ins, but it seems to have taken a turn for the worse.
The Anti-Hero hitmaker encountered a stalker named Brian Jason Wagner, who had been stalking her since 2024, and even claimed to have a child with her.
Following Wagner’s multiple break-ins at the Grammy winner’s Los Angeles estate, she filed a restraining order against him, but he has failed to respond to any of the notices from the court, and even a private investigator has been unable to track him down.
This situation has sent Swift’s team on high alert as the Love Story songstress is “very concerned” and has decided to minimise her public appearances for the time being, as per Daily Mail.
Therefore, the Alchemy singer had to support her fiancé Travis Kelce from home, skipping on most of the games and taking precautions like a bullet-proof screen whenever she does attend in-person.
The threat that Wagner presents is even further emphasised by the recent attempt to jump the fence of Kelce’s home by Justin Lee Fisher, who claimed to have been a server.
Under the current situation, it seems improbable that Swift would attend interviews and hold events for the promotion of her upcoming album, The Life of a Showgirl, which will be released on October 3.
Has Taylor Swift attended any of Travis Kelce’s games this season?
Swift has attended her fiancé’s only one game so far, at the Arrowhead Stadium, and that too with a bullet-proof screen. Due to the security threats, she would likely skip most of the games.
